Tomorrow Never Comes...

I REALLY liked New Sacred Cow, from Kenna. I thought it was fresh, I liked his voice, and for what was essentially a Devo tribute album it came off pretty well. Anyone that's read Blink by Malcolm Gladwell will be familiar with his situation. People that consistently dealt with music (A&Rs, Journalists, etc.) gave him overwhelmingly positive press and publicity. However, his songs did not produce favorable results in focus groups, and NSC was never given the necessary promotional push. ANYWAY, Kenna is back.

I like this shit. It's not much of a departure from his earlier stuff, and I think it's still Chad Hugo on the boards. Nonetheless, it's hot.

Kenna - Face The Gun

Word.

I also have a snippet of the Neptunes produced Krayzie Bone cut Whos House. The beat is an early interpolation of Like A Boss. Leave comments if you want me to put it up.

yeah i'm glad someone giving kenna some press. new sacred cow was a great and fun record. i wish more people knew about the kenna/chad hugo connection cause then they would realize that chad hugo isn't just dead weight and would stop referring to neptunes productions as just pharrell produced joints.

yeah but I think Chad doesn't mind the DL status. He still gets paid a shitload and can actually go out in public.

yeah no doubt cause i know he a family dude and all, but i just wish people would acknowledge his work.

when you see stuff by the heatmakerz cats ain't like "oh this is an arsonist produced track". they call that shit what it is, a heatmakerz banger.

i wish i was paid....

Hey Nice song. I'm trying to start my own blog and I was wondering how do you post audio on your website?

If I remember correctly, isn't Fred Durst responsible for Kenna's inking of a major deal?

I don't know, I'm planning on rereading Blink anyways, I'll look up the whole Kenna story. It's pretty fascinating stuff.

Isn't Blink by the same guy who wrote The Tipping Point or am I way off? If so, is it worth the read?

Brief me on how the music relates to the book if you get a chance.

Post that Krayzie Bone track up. Also, I hear that while Chad is picking up the majority of the new album's production, Pharrell is gonna do some tracks too. Anyone know about that?

DO ME A FAVOR AND PULL THE SONG OFF OF THE INTERNET FOR ME PLEASE. UNLESS YOU WANT KENNA TO HAVE ANOTHER UNSUCCESSFUL ALBUM.

HE ONLY PUT IT UP THERE TO GIVE EVERYONE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO. IF THE SONG GETS OUT BEFORE HIS 2006 RELEASE DATE, HIS RECORD CAN GO BELLY UP. SO, PLEASE?

Chill.

I'm not posting the whole album.

What, is this gonna kill his CD single sales?

Kenna should be glad to get the exposure.
